After more than four decades in the entertainment industry, I found retirement left me in
search of a new, creative challenge. Along with my associate William A. Blum, Shadow
Walkers Publishing was born. Amazon Books opened the door to a path
into the literary world. Stories I had created over the years in the studio system, but failed
to bring to camera was an ideal place to start. Verne Nobles, Sr. DGA
In 2024, after reading several of my action stories, Verne Nobles asked me to join him in
forming Shadow Walkers Publishing. Over time, there have been a number of mentors
who facilitated my career as a writer, however today I feel I have found a creative home
with SWP. With the release of our first two books, we are looking to release additional

In 1981, Vern Nobles Jr. joined his father’s production company in Los Angeles to work
on Louis L’Amour’s “The Shadow Riders” as a camera trainee. Over 40 years later, Vern
Jr. has created a successful path as a Director of Photography ASC and Producer with an impressive list of feature films. In 2024, the father and son team
have once again come together to step off the Hollywood sets to write and research an action expose’ detailing an entire city cursed by a taste of
greed, power and human, moral frailties.

THE SWP TEAM
After more than four decades in the entertainment industry, Verne Nobles, Sr. found retirement had left him in search of a new, creative challenge. With this in mind, he formed a partnership with his Associate William A. Blum. Amazon Books then opened the door to a path into the literary world and Shadow Walkers Publishing, LLC was born.
In 2024, after reading several of William Blum’s action, adventure stories, Verne Nobles invited him to form a partnership and establish Shadow Walkers Publishing, LLC (SWP). Today, SWP has facilitated Mr. Blum’s career as a successful author with a release of several novels.

Derry Frost has been an artist, illustrator and designer for most of his adult life. He has built and overseen several successful Visual Effects companies, and over the past twenty years, he has worked on hundreds of television shows and fifty motion pictures, including the original “Matrix”. In 2024, he accepted an invitation by Verne Nobles, Sr. to join the Shadow Walkers Publishing team and brought to SWP a seasoned, skilled, creative mind to imagine the next step in publishing by collectively producing children’s books and graphic novels.
